Orange County Produce has developed our trace/recall program so that we can carry out needed actions at the facility and corporate level with speed and efficiency. In this way, we ensure our readiness to trace product or conduct a recall rapidly, expeditiously and without major commercial disruption. We have developed our plan to contain all of the elements that will be needed while under fire in the midst of a recall. This includes emergency response procedures, appropriate letters drafted in advance; individual’s assigned specific responsibilities, 24-hour contact information, and necessary forms at the ready.
